August 2026 – Clean-label friendly ingredients for your next formulation

Sodium and added sugar reduction

that meets consumer expectations

Sodium and added sugar reduction are top of mind for many consumers seeking better-for-you food options. 44% of Americans reported trying to limit added sugars in the past year¹.

At last month’s IFT FIRST expo, we showed how our SANTE™ and CTC™ ingredients can help manufacturers achieve added sugar and sodium reduction while meeting consumer expectations for simple ingredient labels in processed foods.

Ultra processed foods are increasingly taking the spotlight in consumer and regulatory conversations around the foods we eat. New data from the International Food Information Council found that more than half of Americans now recognize the term “ultra processed food,” up from 32% just two years ago¹.
