Shmuel Bainvol

SVP, Finance

Shmulik has a long experience in driving manufacturers to financial and business success. With almost 20 years of experience in leading multidisciplinary teams alongside large corporations such as Strauss group and Perrigo, he brings a new vision to Lycored. Shmulik holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an accounting degree and master's degree of Law from Bar-Ilan University. Shmulik loves doing business and creating mutually beneficial deals. As a plant base enthusiast, and after leading Strauss group/Danone JV's entry to the plant-based market in Israel, his transition to Lycored comes naturally. He aims to help furt

Shirley Cohen

CEO

Shirley became our CEO in 2020, bringing more than 20 years of multinational executive experience in the wine, beverages, and plastic industries, including her most recent roles as COO and SVP for Southern Europe at Eden Springs. During her tenure there, she developed a customer-centric approach to global business including value pricing strategy, market penetration and extensions with various sales channels and product lines, and substantial M&A. These hands-on roles combined with her prior role as a GM at Tescom LTD and her engineering training are an ideal fit for leading our continued holistic production and for guiding our next chapter of innovations.

Dr. Youlia Hagooly

PhD SVP, Global Operations

Youlia joined Lycored in 2020. She will oversee our major operations expansion, where we have recently doubled our processing and formulation capacity and will help substantially upgrade our supply chain processes. Youlia has 10 years’ experience in advancing, building, and running global businesses. She holds a PhD from the Tel-Aviv University (Israel) in Chemistry and an MBA. She worked with Agan Aroma Ltd. and Adama Ltd. before finding a happy home at Lycored.

Tammi Higgins

SVP, Global Food Team

Tammi brought expertise to Lycored’s colorants and real food ingredients in 2015. A 20-year veteran of the food technology environments, she believes that being customer-centric can grow into solid, successful businesses. As a leader of our global food team, she uses her many talents and her passion to not only further our harvesting possibilities initiatives, but to help us all better understand and redefine the very concept of possibilities, too. Tammi holds both an MBA in Integrative Management and a BA in Food Science from Michigan State University.

Dr. Etgar Levy-Nissenbaum

PhD, SVP, Global R&D

As a leader in our R&D department, Etgar plays a big part in creating the future of our company. A molecular biologist and geneticist by training, Etgar has over a decade of pharma experience that ranges from internal drug development to external licensing deals. He graduated from Tel Aviv University (Israel) and pursued a post doctorate at MIT and Harvard Medical School (USA). He worked with startups and large corporations alike before finding a happy home at Lycored.

Yelena Shilaev

SVP Global Quality, Safety and Customer Centricity

Yelena has a 15-year history of fostering customer centricity including holding various managerial roles overseeing QA and production at Teva Pharmaceuticals. During her tenure at Lycored, Yelena substantially helped upgrade our QA and QC processes. She is excited to continue developing our customer focus through service excellence, safety and environmental aspects of the business.

Shlomit Grouda

SVP, People

Any way you slice it, Shlomit is a people person. Since joining Lycored, she has aimed to build a balanced yet challenging working environment that enables our people and organizational growth and raises awareness of Lycored’s unique employee experience. By refining our global operational model and helping define leadership best practices, she looks to further advance inclusion and diversity together with our commitment to excellence, and support managers’ development in their work, who in turn foster the growth to the next generation of Lycored people leaders.
