Tending our global garden

Heart + Soil Day isn’t just a celebration of the natural world—it’s also a time for enriching the connections between our global teams and local communities and giving them ways to connect with nature, themselves and each other.

This year, our team in the Ukraine renovated a dispensary that provides medical assistance to those living in a village with no hospital, our Swiss team prepared a three-course meal for patrons of the Schaffhausen Gassenküche—a soup kitchen offering food to those who are homeless or disadvantaged, our Israel team partnered with the Vanatat association to support its 100 Gardens project, which offers a rehabilitative therapeutic garden for those suffering with mental illness and our US team worked with Together We Rise to decorate and assemble ‘Sweet Cases’ packed with teddy bears, blankets and more – as well as writing notes of nourishment for foster children.
