FDA Announces “No Artificial Colors”
Label Update
Earlier this month, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced it will loosen regulations around the use of voluntary “No Artificial Colors” labels on foods that don’t contain petroleum-based colors. Previously, only foods and beverages that didn’t contain any coloring could bear the label. This update allows for the label on products containing naturally derived colors, including Lycored’s portfolio of super stable hues. Read more here.
