It doesn’t take a lot to make someone’s day better but in a place like New York, it really stands out. As part of 9/11 Day‘s Good Deed Challenge and our ongoing Good in Bloom program, we went out to some of the Big Apple’s busiest spots (Bryant Park, Grand Central Station, subway platforms) to reward the good deeds we observed with marigolds.
Among the do-gooders we found were people helping carry heavy luggage for strangers, helping elderly people find their way, and carrying strollers up stairs—proof that kindness really is all around us. See our team spotting goodness over on BuzzFeed.
