Powering peak glow

Everybody needs a lift sometimes — even world class athletes. With the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail returning to in-person competition this year, albeit with limited attendance and events, we wanted to help fill the gap by boosting the spirits of the athletes getting back out there. As the Official Skin Health Sponsor of the games, we invited visitors to paint words of encouragement onto rocks, which we used to create a “Pops of Positivity” art installation.

The activity was a hit, with visitors covering over 500 rocks with messages of encouragement that we later handed out to front-line heroes around the local community as a small token of appreciation reminding them how beautiful they are inside too.

Congrats to all the athletes who competed and challenged themselves this year and thank you to all the visitors who left notes. The event was a wonderful reminder of all the ways we rely on each other—whether we’re inspiring others or cheering each other on. When we support each other, we’re bound to accomplish something beautiful.
