We’re gearing up for IFT 2016.
This year’s Institute of Food Technologists Expo is all set to kick off this weekend in Chicago. We’re excited to see the latest and greatest in food science and technology, as well as meet fellow experts and innovators. Stop by booth #4457 to say hello to us, and check out three great activities that we have lined up.
First, we’re launching a unique product, our Dry Tomato Pulp, on the US market. This innovative offering is a 3-in-1 solution to create a fresh, consistent, and vibrant red color, authentic texture, and viscosity. Additionally, Dry Tomato Pulp provides a healthy fiber content in tomato-based sauces, soups, condiments, and prepared meals with a simple tomato declaration on the package.
Next, we have respected Chef and New Product Guru Anthony Lagana, a key advocate for our Real Food Ingredients sourced from the tomato, showcasing concepts for popular retail and foodservice menu items using SANTE. Our tomato-derived concentrate reduces the need for sodium and sugar by providing natural umami characteristics. Even better? The benefits of SANTE are in line with newly announced FDA guidelines to further reduce sodium levels in foods.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll be sharing key insights that we’ve discovered about the US consumer’s perception of what they consider to be a “natural” strawberry color within the dairy category. We’ll also be demonstrating the exceptional stability of our colors compared to artificial alternatives.
